Oral Presentation Guidelines

Live presentations by the presenting author are mandatory and must be limited to 5 minutes. This will be followed by a 2-minute Q&A/discussion session.
Note: Negative marking will apply for every 30 seconds exceeded beyond the allotted 5-minute presentation time.

Presentation Preparation Guidelines:

  • Presentations must be prepared using Microsoft Office PowerPoint.
  • Adhere to standard slide formatting rules:
    • Use Calibri font – 36 pt for headings and 24 pt for body text.
    • Avoid using light colours (e.g., yellow, light green, pink) in text or figures.
    • Maintain a clean background and avoid unnecessary animations.

Recommended Slide Flow:

  1. Title Slide (1 slide):
    • Abstract ID and Title
    • Name and affiliation of the presenting author
    • Names and affiliations of co-authors (optional)
  2. Introduction: 1–2 slides
  3. Objectives: 1 slide
  4. Materials and Methods: 3–4 slides
  5. Results: 5–6 slides
  6. Implications and Conclusions: 1–2 slides
  7. References: 1 slide (in Vancouver style)

File Naming Convention:

Please save your presentation file as:
Oral_Subtheme_RegID_AbstractID_AuthorName

You are also required to record your presentation and keep it ready for submission if requested.

Important Notes:

  • Submissions not adhering to the specified format or deadline will result in automatic cancellation of the presentation. No exceptions or correspondence will be entertained.
  • If the presenter is absent during the assigned session, the presentation will be skipped and no certificate will be issued.
